Moog, Inc (NYSE: MOG.A) (NYSE:MOG.B), a US-based company that designs, manufactures, and integrates precision control components and systems, has acquired US-based, Crossbow Technology, Inc.
Crossbow designs and manufactures acceleration sensors that are integrated into inertial navigation and guidance systems. The company has acquired Crossbow for USD32m.
Warren Johnson, the company president for the Aircraft Group, said, 'Crossbow's innovative use of MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) based technology in their advanced sensing products will complement Moog's established controls business and allow us to offer more comprehensive solutions to many of our existing customers.'
